I've started a new post for my PVA pieces as the collection is getting pretty big. I really like this one, its just ink, but the colours have blended together really nicely.
I really like how the ink has become somewhat vein like in this section. It looks kind of spooky and it reminds me of tree sillohuettes in front of a bright sky.
This piece isn't my favourite. Its made with ink and bleach and the bleach has made the glue go waxy for some reason. Overall the piece is bland.
As the piece was boring I layered it with another ink and glue creation. Its not made the piece particularly prettier, but at least it look more interesting now. I think it looks a bit like a sillhouette, a bit like the previous ones with the veiny bit. This one looks more 3D though, obviously. I don't think I'm going to collage any more of my PVA pieces most of them are really effective just as they are, so I wouldn't want to spoil them.
This next piece is me attempting to shape the PVA as it dries. Its kind of worked, but whether or not it will work again is another story. The piece isn't anything special, it lacks colour in my opinion but it was just an experiment.
These next few photos are just of the creations when I've just done them, to help demonstrate the process.
These are more Brusho/PVA creations, now I am just trying to perfect the technique and choose my colours for my final piece, I also need to think of a size, and work on shaping the PVA.
I really like the colours in this piece, and I am definitely leaning towards purple for my final piece.
This one isn't as impressive, but I think that's because its a bit too bright.
It looks really nice close up though.
I like this next piece, but it doesn't really resemble a sky, due to the green. But the way the brusho has spread still looks really nice.
This is another piece i tried to mould into a shape. It doesn't look to bad, but I need to think of a way I can mould a bigger one. I really like how this one has turned out. I like the gaps in colour and the veininess, and also how parts of it look soft in the way the colours have blended, and how some of it looks kind of harsh and branchy.
These next photographs are ones of PVA and acrylic paint. I had to swish the paint around with the end of a paintbrush, but they've turned out quite well.
These first two images are whilst the PVA is still drying. It sometimes looks better when its wet.
This has turned out quite well, I like the gaps in the colour as it lets the light through nicely. I still prefer the brusho and PVA creations.
I like this colour combinations, its kind of sinister, especially where the paint goes veiny.
Like in this section here.
This is the first image dry. It doesn't look like a sky, but as an abstract piece over a light source its really effective.
This final piece, is my least favourite. its gone kind of bubbly and in terms of colour, its not particularly exciting. I like how there are lots of gaps in it though.
