Ideas

I've decided I want to carry on doing work with skies, as I think I've done far to much work towards it to just stop now.

1. My main idea for FMP is create a skyscape thats lit from behind, like a sun. and in front of it I want either an urban landscape or sillohuettes of some sort. However, I don't know how practical this would be to create. I'll definitely have to experiment with different paints and surfaces, to see what would allow light to show through.

2. Again, working with lights I was thinking of taking a few photos of the sky, blowing them up and then putting them over a light box, on the wall. However I have never attempted photography, so I have no idea if I'm any good at it.

3. I've had another idea! I'm thinking of painting about 5-8 square canvas', all of different thicknesses, and then arranging them on a wall in some sort of pattern. If I do this I can combine both abstract and sky pieces.

I saw something in the Harris really similar to what I'm thinking of doing. If I do this I can combine ideas 2 and 3. The piece is of a firework. Which has made me think, fireworks are in the sky, as are rainbows and the northern lights, so I could maybe do something on one of the canvas' relating to that.
